Roadworks on M3 and M27 will impact Hampshire drivers this week

Boston Airport Cab would like to put a notification about road closures in Hampshire. The M27 and the M3 are two of the main routes in Hampshire. They are used by schoolchildren, commuters, and day-trippers, the route runs through the entire county.

But, as beneficial as they are but they’re also filled with road construction. This can turn any travel into a nightmare, leaving motorists frustrated when they get waiting in long lines.

This week is no exception and there will be M27 closings taking place each day during the week (September 26-October 2). From smart motorway development to new roadway markings. There are many reasons why certain portions of the M27 will be closed. This week, however, there will be no closures planned on the M3 this week.

The good news is that National Highways have helpfully issued a document outlining when and where closures will take place. The closures typically last from 8 pm to 6 am, unless they extend beyond 12 hours.

Some start earlier with a later finish and there is the chance that the work will be delayed until the rush hour traffic. So, motorists are advised to become familiar with the activities scheduled during the week, and then plan their routes according to the schedule.
